Youth & Sports Day

Friday was Youth & Sports Day in Turkey. This is a day set up by Ataturk, father of modern Turkey. We celebrated by having Field Day. The first half of the day 7th-12th was outside, then we swtiched with the elementary. It was a lot of fun. I put pictures on my photobucket account. Check them out! http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/CDeLong/Turkey/Field%20Day/

One of the most fun games was the team captians laid on the ground with a pitcher. Their team members had to fill up the pitchers with cups just using their mouth. It was hilarious to watch. We also played a fun cat and mouse game. The kids liked that one a lot, mostly because I got to be it a lot. Got my exercise yesterday! And a little sunburn. It was a perfect day for field day.
