Coming Home

Daddy is doing great. He’s a walking miracle! His progress is a result of many answered prayers. Thank you all for your prayers. He’s coming home Wednesday (June 28th). Pray that he will continue to have a positive attitude and remember not to do too much. Things get harder when he’s tired. His balance is much better, but today he said he’s been having some trouble with his vision. He’ll have to do minimal therapy once he gets home. He’ll still see the speech therapist, who actually works with decision making and those kinds of things. He’s still working to get all that processing back; multi-tasking is more challenging. But he preached a sermon to the nurse the other day, was interrupted and was able to return to the thought he was at before the interruption. Daddy’s used to going 90 mph, he’s having to slow down. Again, his progress is amazing and we thank you for all your thoughts, cards and prayers.

PS - I will be posting on some of my thoughts about being home for the summer later.
