Tiptoeing through the Tulips

I have lots of pictures from Spring Break, but mostly they are from one place, Keukenhof. Keukenhof is basically a flower garden. It's kind of a Six Flags for gardeners. Between Jenna and I we took 277 pictures. I know, that is a lot. Therefore, I thought this was the perfect place to start with my Spring Break series, since it was my favorite place. Below is my link on Facebook of some of the pictures; remember you don't have to be a member to view the pictures. If you want to see them all, just drop me an e-mail and I can send you my Snapfish link which has all the pictures.

This place was about a 30 minute bus ride from Haarlem (where we stayed, 15 minutes outside of Amsterdam). We then walked 10 minutes to the garden center. We walked A LOT! We were all very tired by the end. Tulips are my favorite flowers, so I thoroughly enjoyed the sites. They have 7 million flowers, 3 million of which are tulips. You can check out their website to read more http://www.keukenhof.nl/nm/english.html. It is the most photographed place in the world. Well worth a trip to the Netherlands! *I do have to remind you though that the Dutch did get tulips from the Turks!
