And this is what I'm working with...

For my unit on Rome, I assigned each of my students a Roman emperor, who they were to write an obituary on.  They had 3 weeks to work on assingment.  Six hours after it was due I got this e-mail:

"Miss delong its [insert student name] i have trojan.  Do you mean trojan horse or trojan war because i confused"

I refrained from all my sarcastic comments and this was my reply:
"Are you talking about the obituary project that has been assigned for 3 weeks that was due at 8 am this morning?

You had Emperor Trajan."
