We celebrated the fourth Sunday of Advent at church this past Sunday. I am enjoying seeing Christmas decorations and hearing Christmas carols. In Turkey I lived in the land that was always winter but never Christmas. It never really feels like winter in Morocco. There the grass is green and the temperature is in the 60's. There are also no outward signs of Christmas celebrations; that makes me even more appreciative of the many ways that Christmas is expressed in America.
