Boys' Night In

This past Friday I had the 10th through 12th grade boys over to our apartment. Only 3 could not make it. Movie nights have become an annual event since my arrival. Since Tim is leaving before Christmas, this prompted me to get a move on.

Since it was such a small group of guys I actually made them dinner. We had mexican lasagna and burritos. It turned out really well. Then we watched "Van Helsing". It included all the necessary action and even a pretty heroine. Afterwards we played Catchphrase. Playing with a non-native English speakers is always a treat.

On Sunday after church we had a girls' night out. Beth & I were treated to dinner by three of our 11th graders. We saw the new James Bond movie and then had Mexican. That was really entertaining too. Beth said it best, we she said how blessed we were to have students who actually want to spend time outside of school with us.
