God has truly blessed me with an amazing group of friends here in Turkey. (For the record I have lots of amazing friends in America too!) For Christmas my friend Jen made this beautiful work of art for me. She knows that I love tulips, and its even more special because she made it. I just had to share this beauty with you. It is made using the batik art technique. This website describes the process: http://www.exoticindiaart.com/batikart.htm It takes a lot of time because you have to use wax and dip the material in different color dies to create the picture.

Wonderful Friends
