We have a maid who comes to our place half a day, twice a week. It is culturally expected that you will have a maid. We actually pay our maid fairly well according to people here, and it's only about $15 for working 8 hours. You have to remember that the average annual income here is only $4,000; compared to an annual average income of $40,000 in the USA. Our maid is incredibly sweet and it's been a learning experience as she cleans according to Moroccan cultural standards which often conflicts with American feelings of privacy invasion. We've begun to adapt and appreciate the opportunity to provide work for her. She works for several other campus families as well.
On Mondays she cooks a meal for us. I love to come home and know that dinner is already ready to go. The added plus is that we get true Moroccan food every Monday. I'm always amazed how she takes this...

| It's like a really amazing beef stew. |
And tonight we are having this...

It all looks delicious.
Also, your header picture exploded; it's about twice the size of what it was a few days ago, isn't it? :)
It was very good.
The header picture still looks the same on both my computers. Is it still super big on yours?
