Around the World

Climate is affected by three things: elevation, nearness to water and location (latitude).  Places that are along the same latitude have similar climates.  Casablanca's nearness to water makes things a lot cooler here than they do for most of the other cities along this same latitude.  As a geographer I find this really interesting; these are cities around the world with the same latitude as Casablanca.  (I have to give credit for this idea from another friend living overseas.)
